Looking Forward…

I have a webshop now! I’ve had shirts in the past, and wasn’t really able to keep them in stock, despite them being in demand, but I found a convenient solution: a separate webshop! Cutty Jungle Cutty Webshop
Here, well there, I’ll sell the super nice full art shirts. They are printed on Cotton Heritage blanks and printed in the US but still ship to Japan for less than $5!
I’ll still have the polyester and poly/cotton blend screenprinted shirts and coozies in the shop for immediate pick up. The cotton shirts are casual wear, probably not ideal for riding, but the poly stuff I’ll have at the shop is great for riding in.

Trail updates:
High winds today! That means if you decide to take on Ishikawa Kogen Observatory trail (known as La Luge by the Okinawa Mountain Biking Association) from behind, be wary of tons of fallen branches on the trail!
The non-Spider entrance to Spider and the Lost Loop does have a fat log in it. It bridges over the trail so you can’t get over it, but you can get off the trail and around it. This Saturday if we go out I’ll pack the mini electric chainsaw and see if we can cut and remove it. There’s also a second large folded tree near the creek on Spider. At the momment we can get under it, but it is getting lower and lower so we may have to cut that up too.

New routes!!!
We’ve been adventuring and now have THREE new routes!!
First, it is our pleasure to introduce to you: The Lost Loop! This is our Hard Mode Adventure Route. It’s not easy, but it is rewarding!
Second, on the complete opposite: Easy Zakimi Route. What it lacks in difficulty it more than makes up for in chill. Great for dates! There’s even a nice green hill, a few of them, to hang out, have a picnic, or even take one of out watercolor painting kits and fully take in the beauty of the gorgeous Zakimi Castle park by painting your favorite details. And of course, there are opportunities to shred on this course!
The third route, which actually has a several alternative lines: Tomb Raider. This route starts at the farm roads which are very chill and nice, then passes by a few ancient tombs, then immediately opens up. Being pretty short and super sessionable, it’s also the ideal place to practice skills such as line selection, jumps, and big berms! There are two primary entrances, one along some fenceline singletrack that’s a bit off-camber. It can make some people nervous, but there’s also a mellower entrance where you plow through some boulders and pass along a sweet little historic water spring.
FOURTH: The Historic Shred! Combines Tomb Raider and Easy Zakimi! This fulfilling route offers jungle adventure, ancient tombs, historic stuff, action, and chill, yet can still be done in three hours! The climb up to Zakimi Castle after ripping it up on Tomb Raider can be a bit of an effort, but it’s a beautiful place to take a break anyway. And you also get to rip down one of the sweetest cutty trails!
